Contracts - Local Hires
Salary Placement
Placement on the salary scale is based on the following:
Degrees earned
Graduate-level semester credits completed
Total years of full-time, continuous related experience (up to the maximum placement point of 10 years)
To complete your placement, we must receive:
Copy of Bachelor's degree and any other degrees and/or graduate credits earned as well as a copy of your teaching (or administrative) credentials.
Verification of employment from your previous school(s). This will be used to verify your previous full-time related experience (up to a maximum of 10 years).
Note:
Professional development and workshop hours are not considered towards salary placement unless graduate-level credit was awarded by an accredited university.
Graduate semester credits earned towards certification will not be considered for salary placement purposes (since certification is required for employment).
Contracts
Initial Local Hire contracts will be issued for a period of one (1) year, with annual renewals thereafter. Your ACS contract will be issued, once the required documents under Phase 1 of the document checklist have been received by Human Resources.

Initial each page
Sign and date the last page in the appropriate space
Submit the signed and initialed contract to Human Resources
